About Ericking
Ericking is a creative company dedicated to visual storytelling, cultural expression, and design innovation. Rooted in photography and media, we craft narratives that connect with people and places in meaningful ways.
Our flagship project, LIFE Magazine, documents Canadian cities through images and stories, offering fresh perspectives on urban life and community. Alongside publishing, we also created Ericking Clothes, a clothing line that translates our artistic vision into wearable design. Each piece reflects the same values found in our media work authenticity, creativity, and a commitment to telling stories through form and style.
At Ericking, we believe creativity should be experienced, whether through photography, print, or fashion. Our mission is to inspire and connect by bringing ideas to life across different mediums.

OWNER
Hi, I am JingHong, also known as Eric. In 2022, I began pursuing an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media at Carleton University. That same year, I founded my independent art brand, Ericking. My side profession is street photography, which also marked the beginning of Ericking. My first self-designed project was creating free posters by photographing portraits of fellow students on campus.
After nearly two years of development, Ericking has evolved to not only organize its model team to shoot street-style photos but also independently photograph, design, write, publish, and sell the LIFE magazine series, which now includes four editions. In 2025, Ericking will venture into fashion, aiming to integrate my street photography style into artistic products. My goal is to connect regional cultures through photography and art.
